Editorial Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This editorial policy describes how we create and maintain content on mcbedrock.app so readers can trust what they see.
Purpose
Our primary job is to help people download Minecraft Bedrock safely from official stores, understand Bedrock vs Java, use guides and tools, and set up Bedrock Dedicated Server when they want to host.
Standards
- Prefer official stores and documentation over unofficial mirrors for the game client.
- Keep one clear job per page (download, guide, tool, or trust page).
- Do not invent download counts, fake reviews, or device tests we did not perform.
- Call out platform limits (console sideloading, Java-only mods, shader constraints) when they matter.
- Reject piracy framingno “free full Bedrock APK” promotion.
- Date-sensitive claims (versions, prices, drops) should be checked against current stores when updated.
Sourcing
We rely on official Minecraft/Mojang/Microsoft materials, platform store listings, public changelogs, and clearly labeled community resources when appropriate. Tool outputs (seed helpers, calculators) are utilitiesnot a promise that every seed or coordinate matches every hotfix.
Corrections
Material errors are fixed as soon as we can verify them. Use the contact page with the page URL, what is wrong, your platform, and the in-game version string.
Independence
We are not paid by Mojang or Microsoft to publish this site. If we later accept sponsorships, affiliates, or gifted keys, we will disclose that on affected pages.
Monetization
The site may show ads (for example AdSense) after approval. Ads must not look like primary download buttons or impersonate official store CTAs. Download guidance will continue to point to official stores for the game client.
User safety
We warn against unknown APKs, credential phishing, and cheat clients that risk bans or malware. Guides that touch “xray” or similar topics emphasize fair-play alternatives and server rules.
